Please look carefully at the following photo. This photo shows what remains of the Trade Union building. During the fighting on February 18th, those who were heavily wounded were brought here, people with severe bone fractures who could no longer move on their own, and when the building caught fire they remained there. Dozens of people were left behind. We don’t know their names, or family surnames, age, or where they come from. A sniper’s bullet is more merciful in that regard, it’s just a moment and you feel nothing. But, fire…. light a burner and try to hold your hand there for 10 seconds. And now look at the photo again. Next time you plan on bribing someone, turn a blind eye to cop brutality, when you decide not to take part in the election process, when you cast your vote without serious consideration – then close your eyes for a moment and remember these photos.
