A new concept “Zhydo-Banderite” (“Zhydo–Bandera”) has appeared in Ukraine. This neologism is used to define Jews–[who are] friends of Ukrainian nationalists. Moreover, the Jews are the ones who predominantly use this word. In social networks, there is a photo of a meeting at a synagogue, where Jewish youth from Kyiv discuss the issues around sending the people wounded on Maidan to Israel. The caption under this photo says: Zhydo-Banderite consultation at the synagogue.
The flags and blazonry of the “Zhydo-Banderite” movement are posted on Facebook [see below].
Brand new anecdotes are becoming popular on the Internet, just like this one:
–You are a Fascist and a Banderite!
–I know. [People have] said so. Our whole synagogue is like that.
The website of “Right Sector,” the leading force on Maidan led by Dmytro Yarosh, is called “banderivets.org.ua.” And the Jews supporting Maidan and revolutionary changes in Kyiv call themselves “Zhydo-Banderites” or “Zhydobanderivets.”
